Opening of access roads
It is with a few days on the usual calendar, that the access roads to the Pas de Peyrol reopened today, Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 2 pm. The Puy Mary is now accessible again by road, for a new season.
Note that the access road from Salers/Le Falgoux remains closed between La Borne and Le Pas de Peyrol and will be closed until the morning of May 7. The landslides that took place in 2021 have caused damage to several structures that are being restored for several days.
The traffic directions for campers, coaches and trucks under 9 tons are therefore modified from April 28, 2 pm to May 6, 11:59 pm. In the morning, the ascent will take place from Mandailles-Saint-Julien from midnight to 12:15, during this interval, the descent will take place in the direction of the Col de Serre. In the afternoon from 12:45 to 23:59, the ascent will take place from the Col de Serre and the descent will be in the direction of Mandailles-Saint-Julien. As of May 7, the usual traffic directions will be in effect again.
