The web series “Communes” launched in September 2021 by the Grand Site de France Puy Mary – Volcan du Cantal has just passed the 500,000 online views mark. Begun in the fall of 2021, the series has been running for 3 months and 17 episodes through the communes of the Grand Site.
In order to promote its communes and their heritage, the Grand Site has produced 17 videos that allow everyone to discover and better understand the territory. It is thus a tool in the continuity of the exhibition “Valleys” also realized by the Grand Site and exposed last summer in the Houses of Site of Falgoux and Claux, then in the communes of the Grand Site (visible until February 11th in the town hall of Cheylade). Visible on different online platforms (FaceBook, YouTube…) the series has been viewed by Cantalians as well as people from outside the department, as well as an international visibility (Belgium, Canada, Italy…).
